Is 46,000 a realistic budget for a ny wedding?

It wouldnt be in NYC it would be on Long
Island a little cheaper but still costly. It would be for about 200 to 250 guests……this $ amount would be for everything dres,tux rentals limos ect.

I live in NJ (close to the city). I really don’t think $46,000 is enough. Not if you’re planning on having the “typical” NY/NJ wedding. I’m having 200 guests, and my reception alone (food, bar, you know) is going to cost $46,000. Granted, I’m getting married at a more expensive place, but I think you might have to up it a little bit. You know everything is more expensive where we live.
